Futsal Super League
The Iranian Futsal Super League ( fa, سوپرلیگ فوتسال ایران, ''SuperLig-e Futsāl-e Irān''), is a professional futsal league competition for clubs located at the highest level of the Iranian futsal league system founded in 2003. The Super League is the top tier of an extensive pyramid-like structure, above the 1st Division, the 2nd Division and the lower local leagues. Iran Football's 3rd Division
Iranian football's 3rd division ( fa, ليگ دسته سوم ایران) is the fourth-highest football division overall in the Iranian football league system. Before 2001, the 3rd division league was the third-highest division in Iranian football league system, however, this was changed to fourth-highest division when Iran's football structure officially became professional. The league consists of two stages. In first stage, 65 teams participate in five groups of 13 teams each. The groups are organized in a manner such that teams closer to each other geographically end up in the same group. Because of this the 3rd division can be considered as a regional league. Stage one is played in single round-robin format and this is the only league organised by IRIFF which has no home-and-away format. 2008–09 Azadegan League
The 2008–09 Azadegan League was the 18th season of the Azadegan League and eight as the second highest division since its establishment in 1991. The season featured 22 teams from the 2007–08 Azadegan League, two new teams relegated from the 2007–08 Persian Gulf Cup: Sanat Naft and Shirin Faraz and four new teams promoted from the 2007–08 2nd Division: Aluminium Hormozgan as champions and Mehrkam Pars, Payam Mokhaberat and Petroshimi Tabriz. Sanaye Arak changed their name into Aluminium Arak. The league started on 23 October 2008 and ended on 8 June 2009. Steel Azin and Tractor Sazi won the Azadegan League title for the first time in their history. Steel Azin, Tractor Sazi and Shahin Bushehr promoted to the Persian Gulf Cup. 2008–09 Persian Gulf Cup
The 2008–09 Persian Gulf Cup (also known as Iran Pro League) was the 26th season of Iran's Football League and eighth as Iran Pro League since its establishment in 2001. Persepolis were the defending champions. The season featured 15 teams from the 2007–08 Persian Gulf Cup and two new teams promoted from the 2007–08 Azadegan League: Payam Mashhad as champions and Foolad. Damash replaced Pegah. The league started on 4 August 2008 and ended on 26 April 2009. Esteghlal won the Pro League title for the second time in their history (total seventh Iranian title). Vahid Shamsaei
Vahid Shamsaei ( fa, وحید شمسايی ; born 21 September 1975) is an Iranian professional futsal coach and former player. He was a Pivot and he scored 392 goals in international matches. He is currently head coach of Iran national futsal team. Shamsaei has been named AFC Futsal Player of the Year on three occasions (2007, 2008 and 2015). He has also won eight AFC Futsal Championships with Iran. Shamsaei is regarded as the ''Ali Daei of futsal'' by the Asian Football Confederation. International career He is the leading goalscorer for the national team, the seven time Top Goalscorer of the Asian Futsal Championship. 2009–10 Iran Futsal's 1st Division
The 2009–10 Iranian Futsal 1st Division will be divided into two phases, the regular season, played from 13 November 2009. The league will also be composed of 16 teams divided into two divisions of 8 teams each, whose teams will be divided geographically. Teams will play only other teams in their own division, once at home and once away for a total of 14 matches each.
