2008–09 Chicago Bulls Season
The 2008–09 Chicago Bulls season is the 43rd season of the franchise in the National Basketball Association (NBA). In the playoffs, the Bulls lost to the defending NBA champions, the Boston Celtics, in seven games in the First Round. The defending champion Celtics were also taken to a seven game series the prior season in the first round against the Atlanta Hawks. Vinny Del Negro
Vincent Joseph Del Negro (born August 9, 1966) is an American former professional basketball player. He was the head coach of the National Basketball Association's Chicago Bulls from 2008 to 2010, and the Los Angeles Clippers from 2010 to 2013. Del Negro is currently an analyst with NBA TV. The NBA G League, or simply the G League, is the National Basketball Association's (NBA) official minor league basketball organization. The league was known as the National Basketball Development League (NBDL) from 2001 to 2005, and the NBA Development League (NBA D-League) from 2005 until 2017. Robert Henry "Bob" Ociepka is an American former basketball coach. Early life Ociepka was born in Chicago to an Italian American mother and Polish American father. Ociepka grew up in the West Side district of Chicago. After graduating from St. Mel High School, Ociepka played college basketball at Quincy University. High school coaching career After graduating from Quincy University in 1970, Ociepka became an assistant coach for Gordon Technical High School in Chicago. The Arkansas Razorbacks men's basketball team represents the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas in NCAA Division I men's basketball competition.
