2008–09 Butler Bulldogs Men's Basketball Team
The 2008–09 Butler Bulldogs men's basketball team represented Butler University in the 2008–09 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. Their head coach was Brad Stevens, serving his 2nd year. The Bulldogs played their home games at the Hinkle Fieldhouse, which has a capacity of approximately 10,000. Brad Stevens
Bradley Kent Stevens (born October 22, 1976) is an American basketball executive and former coach who is currently the president of basketball operations for the Boston Celtics. Born and raised in Zionsville, Indiana, Stevens starred on the Zionsville Community High School basketball team, setting four school records. After high school, he attended DePauw University, where he played basketball and earned a degree in economics. Stevens made the all-conference team multiple times and was a three-time Academic All-America nominee. He transitioned into coaching after quitting his job at Eli Lilly and Company, joining the basketball program at Butler University as a volunteer prior to the 2000–01 season. Stevens was promoted to a full-time assistant coach the following season. After five seasons in the role, he assumed the position of head coach on April 4, 2007, after Todd Lickliter left to coach the Iowa Hawkeyes. Brownsburg High School
Brownsburg High School is a public high school located in Brownsburg, Indiana. The school is located within the Brownsburg Community School Corporation, which is in Hendricks County. History Brownsburg graduated its first class in spring 1897. Athletics BHS athletic teams are nicknamed the Bulldogs and compete in the Hoosier Crossroads Conference. In 2020 it was announced that the Bulldogs received a uniform partnership with Jordan brand. Homewood High School
Homewood High School (HHS) is a public high school, serving grades 9-12, in the Homewood, Alabama suburb of Birmingham. It is the only high school in the Homewood City School System. The principal is Joel Henneke. In the summer of 2007, the front of the school was remodeled, and a new building, Pathways Alternative School, was constructed in the upper level of the student parking lot. The front office and lobby were also remodeled in the summer of 2008. In the summer of 2018, construction on a new fine arts wing began. The Alabama Crimson Tide men's basketball team represents the University of Alabama in NCAA Division I men's basketball. The program plays in the Southeastern Conference (SEC).
