Brownsburg High School
Brownsburg High School is a public high school located in Brownsburg, Indiana. The school is located within the Brownsburg Community School Corporation, which is in Hendricks County. History Brownsburg graduated its first class in spring 1897. Athletics BHS athletic teams are nicknamed the Bulldogs and compete in the Hoosier Crossroads Conference. In 2020 it was announced that the Bulldogs received a uniform partnership with Jordan brand. Performing arts BHS fields four competitive show choirs: the mixed-gender "Spotlight Singers & Company", the all-female "Starlight Voices" and "Bella Voce", and the all-male "Dawg Pound". The program also hosts an annual competition, the Bulldog Spectacular. BHS also has a top 20-ranking marching band: “The Sound of Brownsburg”. Brownsburg, Indiana
Brownsburg is a town in Hendricks County, Indiana, United States. The population was recorded to be 21,285 residents at the 2010 Census, an increase from the 14,520 residents in 2000. the estimated population was recorded to be 27,001 residents. History Brownsburg was first settled in 1824 by James B. Brown. When he arrived, the area was a dense, unbroken stretch of wilderness. Delaware Indians lived in what is now called Lincoln Township, along White Lick Creek, which was then called "Wa-pe-ke-way" or "White Salt". Four years later, the first log schoolhouse was built in Brown Township. Once a stagecoach line was established along a road built in 1820 connecting to Indianapolis, more settlers arrived. William Harris settled in the area north of what is now Main Street, selling sections of woods to incoming pioneers. This gave the town its original name of Harrisburg in 1835. Christopher Estridge (born September 21, 1989 in Brownsburg, Indiana) is a former American soccer player. Career College and Amateur Estridge started his college soccer career at Wake Forest University in 2008, before moving to Indiana University in 2010. Estridge was named NSCAA All-American First Team and All-Big Ten Conference First Team in 2011. Estridge played for USL Premier Development League club Chicago Fire Premier in 2011. Professional Vancouver Whitecaps FC selected Estridge in the second round (No. 21 overall) of the 2012 MLS SuperDraft. However, he was cut by the club on February 17, 2012 during their pre-season and was later traded to Real Salt Lake in exchange for a conditional 2013 MLS Supplemental Draft pick on April 11, 2012. Mark Titus (born June 25, 1987) is an author, podcast host, and former walk-on basketball player at Ohio State. Basketball career Titus played high school basketball at Brownsburg High School (BHS) in Brownsburg, Indiana. For Brownsburg High, Titus scored more than 1,000 career points. There are only four other 1,000 point scorers in BHS history, including current NBA player Gordon Hayward. He was voted second team All-Indiana selection twice. Mark Patrick Storen (born c. 1959), better known by his professional name Mark Patrick, is an American radio personality based in Indianapolis. Starting out on satellite radio, he was part of MLB Network Radio as the co-host of ''Baseball This Morning'' along with Buck Martinez and Larry Bowa .
