The Campeonato Amazonense, officially Campeonato Amazonense de Futebol Profissional, is the football championship for professional clubs of the state of Amazonas, Brazil. Clube Atlético Cristal, commonly referred to as Cristal (), is a Brazilian football club based in based in Macapá, Amapá. The club's senior team is inactive since 2013, having last played in a professional match in August 2011. They competed in the Série C in 2008, and in the Série D in 2009. History Clube Atlético Cristal was founded on 15 November 1969 by Aldemir da Silva Figueira from the Santa Rita neighborhood in Macapá, aiming to rival local club Oratório Recreativo Clube. Soon after, the club became affiliated to the Federação Amapaense de Desportos and began competing in their tournaments. Rio Branco Football Club, commonly referred to as Rio Branco, is a Brazilian professional club based in Rio Branco, Acre founded on 8 June 1919. Away Goal Rule
The away goals rule is a method of tiebreaking in association football and other sports when teams play each other twice, once at each team's home ground. Under the away goals rule, if the total goals scored by each team are equal, the team that has scored more goals " away from home" wins. This is sometimes expressed by saying that away goals "count double" in the event of a tie, though in practice the team with more away goals is simply recorded as the victor, rather than having additional or 'double' goals added to their total.
