International Formula Master, also known as Formula Super 2000, was a European-based junior single seater formula. The series was conceived as a competitor for Formula Three and made its debut at Valencia in 2007. European television channel Eurosport were backing the series and the series regularly supported the World Touring Car Championship during its European races. The championship started in 2005 as the 3000 Pro Series, organised by Peroni Promotion and based in Italy; it used Lola B99/50 chassis alongside 2002 cars. MTC Organisation took over for 2006 and renamed it F3000 International Masters, running a support series to the WTCC. In 2007 this series changed regulations, with N.Technology now running technical operations for MTC Organisation, and it became the International Formula Master. Filip Salaquarda (born January 11, 1984 in Prague) is a professional racing driver from the Czech Republic. Career Early career After an early career in karting, Salaquarda began his racing career in 2000 in his native Czech Republic, competing in the Ford Puma Cup where he finished in third place. A year later he stepped up to the Škoda Octavia Cup, finishing the year 13th in the standings. In 2002, he made his single–seater debut in the Formula BMW ADAC series in Germany. In his first season in the category he was classified in 21st place. The following year he improved to 13th overall, taking a podium place in the final round at Hockenheim. ISR Racing (also known as Coca-Cola Racing Team in FIA GT) is a racing team from Czech Republic, created in 1993 by Igor Salaquarda. The team is currently competing in ADAC GT Masters. History The company was created to develop the Peugeot 306 Cup of Peugeot Cup racing. Later, in 1996, ISR started racing in Super Touring with Audi 80 quattro and Czech driver Josef Venc. The team won the drivers' title in the Central-European Super Touring Championship in 1998 and 1999. In 1999, ISR started building a 500m² workshop for the preparation of racing cars. Pro Motorsport is an auto racing team based in Italy. History International Formula Master Pro Motorsport raced in International Formula Master from its inaugural season in 2005 up until the end of the 2008 season. In 2005, with the series known as the 3000 Pro Series, Pro Motorsport performed solidly and their driver Max Busnelli was eventually crowned joint-champion with Norbert Siedler, both on 49 points and with identical race finishing positions. Norbert Siedler (born 29 December 1982 in Wildschönau) is an Austrian racing driver. Career Siedler began his career in motorsport in karts. In 1992 he began at the age of ten years in the German Kartszene and in 1997, won the junior class. In 1999, he was an Austrian kart driver.
