2008 CIS Men's Soccer Championship
The 2008 CIS Men's Soccer Championship Finals were held from the 6-9 November, 2008 at Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario. It consisted of 8 teams from the various conferences under the Canadian Interuniversity Sport U Sports (stylized as U SPORTS) is the national sport governing body of university sport in Canada, comprising the majority of degree-granting universities in the country. The Montréal Carabins are the men's and women's athletic teams that represent the Université de Montréal in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Teams play at the CEPSUM Stadium and at l'aréna du CEPSUM, located at the Université de Montréal campus. History of the club Alpine ski Badminton Cheerleading The Carabins cheerleading team was created in 2002 at the same time as the rebirth of the Carabins football team. The Dalhousie Tigers are the men's and women's athletic teams that represent Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. The York Lions is the official name for the athletic varsity teams that represent York University in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Paul Craig (soccer)
Paul Craig (born March 14, 1988) is a Canadian soccer player most well known for his time spent with FC Edmonton. Career Youth and amateur Craig came to recognition through his performance with his university team, UPEI Panthers. Craig was team MVP, a CIS second team all-star, and was second in the country in goals in his last year with the Panthers. Craig then transferred to the University of Saskatchewan and after sitting out a season as per CIS rules, he went on to be a key component in getting the Huskies to a franchise best second-place finish in the CIS West, leading the team with nine assists in 13 games. Craig also found success at the amateur club level with the Avondale Islanders. Craig led the team to a Bronze Medal at the 2008 Canadian National Challenge Cup, leading the tournament with six goals in four matches for the Islanders. Sir Kenneth Duncan Morrison CBE (20 October 1931 – 1 February 2017) was an English businessman, Life President, and former chairman of Morrisons (Wm Morrison Supermarkets PLC), the fourth largest supermarket group in the United Kingdom. He was the son of William Morrison, who founded the company. Early and private life He was the youngest child of William Murdoch Morrison and Hilda Morrison (née Ryder), who owned a small grocery chain set up in 1899. He was born in Bradford, and was brought up by five elder sisters. Whilst at Bradford Grammar School, Morrison worked in the family provisions business in the school holidays. James Scholefield (soccer)
James Scholefield (15 November 1789 – 4 April 1853), English classical scholar, was born at Henley-on-Thames. He was educated at Christ's Hospital and Trinity College, Cambridge, and was in 1825 appointed professor of Greek in the university. He was for some time curate to Charles Simeon, the evangelical churchman, and his low church views involved him in disputes with his own parishioners at St Michael's, Cambridge, of which he was perpetual curate from 1823 till his death at Hastings on 4 April 1853. From 1849 until his death he was canon of Ely. Scholefield was an excellent teacher with his students coming up with the name Duke Scholefield to pay tribute to his muscular physique and exceptionally wide shoulders. Ross Hagen (born Leland Lando Lilly; May 21, 1938 – May 7, 2011) was an American voice actor, actor, director, screenwriter and producer whose television acting credits included ''Daktari''. His film credits included ''The Hellcats'' in 1967 and ''The Sidehackers'' in 1969. His video game credits included '' Red Dead Redemption'' and its expansion pack ''Undead Nightmare''.
