The 2007–08 Major Indoor Soccer League season was the seventh and final season for the league. The regular season started on October 19, 2007, and ended on April 5, 2008. Major Indoor Soccer League (2001–2008)
The Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) was the top professional indoor soccer league in the United States. The league was a member of both the United States Soccer Federation and FIFA. The MISL had replaced the NPSL which folded in 2001. According to MISL.net, the league ceased operations as of May 31, 2008. Denison Cabral
Denison Cabral is a retired Brazilian-American soccer forward /midfielder who played professionally in the Continental Indoor Soccer League, NPSL II, National Professional Soccer League and USISL. He played three games for the United States national futsal team at the 2008 FIFA Futsal World Cup, scoring one goal for the American team. In 2007 the Brazilian-American participated in his first official FIFA event as a member of the US Futsal Men's team in the 2007 Pan American games in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil. Denison served as the captain of the United States national futsal Team in the world cup qualifying tournament CONCACAF in Guatemala 2008. Cabral began his career with Sadia F.A. and Palmeiras. Warren Ukah
Warren Ukah (born March 22, 1985 in Atlanta) is an American soccer player. Career Ukah attended Grady High School before turning professional at the age of eighteen, in 2003 with Village United in the Jamaica National Premier League. Following the 2003–2004 Jamaican season. At nineteen, he returned to the US to play the summer season with the Wilmington Hammerheads of the USL Pro Soccer League. He went back to Village United for the 2004–2005 season then came back north in 2005 to play for the Virginia Beach Mariners in the USL Second Division. In 2006, twenty-one-year-old Ukah signed with the Atlanta Silverbacks of the USL First Division. He spent three seasons with the Silverbacks and lead them to the league championship in 2007, but lost much of the 2008 season with injuries. Danny Waltman
Danny Waltman (born September 19, 1981, in Gig Harbor, Washington) is an American soccer player best known for his career as a goalkeeper in professional indoor soccer. He currently plays for the Tacoma Stars in the Major Arena Soccer League. Career Youth and College Waltman began his soccer career with Solaris '81, Washington state champions each of his seven seasons. He attended Bellarmine Preparatory School in Tacoma, Washington. While there, he was a four-year starter on the boys’ soccer team. In those four seasons, the school was undefeated in league play. Keith Tozer is a retired American soccer player who played professionally in the Major Indoor Soccer League, American Soccer League and American Indoor Soccer Association. He is currently the commissioner of the Major Arena Soccer League. Player College Tozer grew up in upstate New York. After graduating from high school, he attended Oneonta State from 1975 to 1979, where he played as a forward on the men's soccer team. Frederico Moojen
Frederico Augusto Pieruccini "Freddy" Moojen (born February 25, 1983) is a soccer forward. Born in Brazil, he represented Canada at the international level in futsal. He shared the 2005 and 2006 Premier Development League goals lead. He was also the 2006 PDL MVP and the 2006-2007 Major Indoor Soccer League Rookie of the Year. Jamar Beasley
Jamar Beasley (born October 11, 1979, in Fort Wayne, Indiana) is an American soccer player. Career Beasley began his professional career in 1998, as a member Major League Soccer's Project-40, directly out of High School (South Side High School). He became a member of the New England Revolution. At the time, Beasley was the youngest player to sign with MLS, a record since broken many times over.
