Siot Tanquingcen
Bethune "Siot" Tanquingcen is a Filipino professional basketball head coach. He is currently an assistant coach for the Benilde Blazers. As coach, Tanquingcen has won three PBA championships: two with Barangay Ginebra San Miguel ( 2004 Fiesta Conference and 2004–2005 Philippine Cup) and one with the San Miguel Beermen ( 2009 Fiesta Conference). He was former player for the UST Growling Tigers in the UAAP, the Sunkist Orange Juicers and the San Miguel Beermen in the PBA and the Pampanga Dragons in the Metropolitan Basketball Association. He finished high school at the Philippine Cultural High School. Playing career Tanquingcen was one of the role players for the UST Tigers in their historic four-peat run from 1993 to 1996 under head coach Aric del Rosario. The Air21 Express were a professional basketball team in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) that debuted in the 2011–12 season. The team debuted as the Shopinas.com Clickers during the 2011–12 PBA Philippine Cup. In 2014, the franchise was sold to Manila North Tollways Corporation (a subsidiary of Metro Pacific Investments Corporation) and was renamed as the NLEX Road Warriors. Cuneta Astrodome
The Cuneta Astrodome is an indoor arena that is located in Pasay, Philippines. Since the 1993 PBA season, it was better known as the home of the Philippine Basketball Association. when it left the PhilSports Arena (that was then known as ULTRA), up until the 1998 PBA season, 1998 and since 2001 PBA season, 2001. The Rain or Shine Elasto Painters are a professional basketball team in the Philippine Basketball Association owned by Asian Coatings Philippines, Inc. It debuted in the league in the 2006–07 PBA season after acquiring the franchise rights of the Shell Turbo Chargers in 2006, which disbanded after the 2004–05 PBA season. Ynares Center
The Ynares Center is an indoor sporting arena located along the Circumferential Road in Antipolo, Rizal, Philippines. The facility, which has a seating capacity of 7,400, is managed by the Provincial Government of Rizal. Aside from hosting basketball, boxing, volleyball and other indoor sports, the Ynares Center is also used for concerts and other crowd gatherings. The arena was built at a cost of ₱350 million. Alaska Aces (PBA)
The Alaska Aces were a professional basketball team in the Philippine Basketball Association since 1986 under the ownership of Alaska Milk Corporation (AMC) and the owner of 14 PBA championships, tied with the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel and the Magnolia Hotshots for the second-most titles overall. They are one of the most popular teams in the league and the Philippines. The Aces won nine PBA championships in the 1990s, including a rare grand slam (winning three championships in one season) during the 1996 season, joining the Crispa Redmanizers (1976, 1983), San Miguel Beermen (1989), and the San Mig Super Coffee Mixers ( 2013–14) as one of only four franchises to achieve the feat. The Powerade Tigers were a professional basketball team that played in the Philippine Basketball Association from 2002 to 2012. The franchise was owned by Coca-Cola Bottlers Philippines, Inc. (CCBPI) when the company acquired Cosmos Bottling Corporation from RFM Corporation. From 2002 to 2010, the team played as the Coca-Cola Tigers. Lordy Tugade (born December 30, 1977 in Alaminos, Pangasinan) is a Filipino retired professional basketball player.
