2007 World Wheelchair Curling Championship – Qualification Event
The qualification event for the 2007 World Wheelchair Curling Championship was held from November 8 to 12, 2006 at the Braehead Curling Rink in Braehead, Scotland. The event's two top finishers, Russia and Japan, both qualified to participate in the 2008 World Wheelchair Curling Championship. Braehead
Braehead ( sco, Braeheid, Gaelic: ''Ceann a' Bhruthaich'') is a commercial development located at the former site of Braehead Power Station in Renfrew on the south bank of the River Clyde in Renfrew, Renfrewshire. It is particularly notable for its large shopping centre, arena and leisure facilities. The shopping centre was rebranded as Intu Braehead in 2013 and carried that name until 2020. Rosemary Lenton
Rosemary Lenton (born 21 August 1949) is a Scottish para lawn bowler and wheelchair curler. Life and career Lenton was born in Huddersfield, Yorkshire on 21 August 1949. She has previously competed in sailing and cycling. Complications after routine surgery in 2002 led to her using a wheelchair. She took up bowls in 2005.
