The 62nd edition of Omloop Het volk cycling event was held on 3 March 2007. The race was won by Italian rider Filippo Pozzato in a five-man sprint before Juan Antonio Flecha and Tom Boonen. It was ranked a 1.HC event of the 2006–07 UCI Europe Tour. The edition marked the last time the race finished in Lokeren before it moved back to Ghent. 2006–07 UCI Europe Tour
The 2006–07 UCI Europe Tour was the third season of the UCI Europe Tour. The season began on 15 October 2006 with the Chrono des Nations and ended on 18 October 2007 with the Giro del Piemonte. Steven de Jongh (born 25 November 1973 in Alkmaar) is a Dutch former road bicycle racer. Biography De Jongh made his professional debut in 1995 at TVM team where he stayed until 1999. Robbie McEwen (born 24 June 1972) is an Australian former professional road cyclist. Nick Nuyens (born 5 May 1980) is a Belgian former professional road racing cyclist who last rode for in the UCI World Tour. His biggest wins included the semi-classics Kuurne–Brussels–Kuurne, Omloop Het Volk, Paris–Brussels and the classic Tour of Flanders. He was a classics rider.
