2007 Men's EuroHockey Nations Championship
The 2007 Men's EuroHockey Nations Championship was the 11th edition of the Men's EuroHockey Nations Championship, the biennial international men's field hockey championship of Europe organized by the European Hockey Federation. It was held in Manchester, England from 19 to 26 August 2007. The Netherlands won its third title by defeating the defending champions Spain 3–2 in the final. Belgium won its first-ever medal by defeating Germany 4–3. The top three teams qualified directly for the 2008 Summer Olympics. The other teams qualified for the qualification tournaments for the Summer Olympics. Christopher Zeller (born 14 September 1984) is a German national representative field hockey player. As of 2008, his current club is Rot-Weiss Köln. Zeller represented Germany in the 2004, 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics. Personal life Born in Munich, he is the younger brother of Philipp Zeller. Career Zeller was a member of the Men's National Team that won the gold medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics and scored the only goal in the final. Brett Spencer Garrard (born 21 August 1976) is a male British former field hockey player. Matt Daly
Matthew "Matt" Daly (born 8 July 1983) is an English field hockey player. Daly made his international debut in 2005. He competed for England and Great Britain at numerous tournaments, including the 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics. Daly was born in Saudi Arabia. He has played club hockey for Surbiton and Teddington. He is currently a senior member of staff and hockey coach at Kingston Grammar School Kingston Grammar School is an independent co-educational day school in Kingston upon Thames, England. The school was founded by Royal Charter in 1561 but can trace its roots back to at least the 13th century.

Simon Douglas Mantell (born 24 April 1984) is an English field hockey forward. He is the younger brother of Richard Mantell. Mantell currently plays for Exeter University Hockey Club. Mantell made his international senior debut for the national squad on 9 November 2005 versus Ireland at Beeston. He was a member of the England squad that finished fifth at the 2006 Men's Hockey World Cup. He competed at the 2010 and 2011 Champions Trophy, and was also part of the winning squad at the 2009 EuroHockey Championship. Ashley Steven Jackson (born 27 August 1987) is an English field hockey player who plays club hockey as a defender or midfielder for Old Georgians'. He represented the England and Great Britain national teams from 2006 until 2021. Richard Mantell (born 17 August 1981) is an English field hockey defender. He is the older brother of Simon Mantell. Mantell made his international debut on 10 February 2003. He was a member of the England squad that competed at the 2006 and 2010 Hockey World Cup. Richard Ian M. Alexander (born 15 September 1981 in Homersfield, Suffolk), nicknamed "Ratman", is an English field hockey player. Glenn Charles W. Kirkham (born 8 October 1982) is an English field hockey player who played for the English and British national team. Hockey Kirkham made his international senior debut for the national squad in January 2002 in a match against Poland. He was named as the England captain for 2006–07. He was part of the England team that participated in the field hockey world cup in Monchengladbach, Germany where they finished 5th overall.
