2007 MLS All-Star Game
The 2007 Major League Soccer All-Star Game was the 12th annual Major League Soccer All-Star Game. The 2007 MLS All-Star Game took place on July 19, 2007 between the 2007 MLS All-Stars and Celtic. Dick's Sporting Goods Park, the new home stadium of the Colorado Rapids in Commerce City, CO, hosted the 2007 Sierra Mist All-Star Game. This was the first time that Dick's Sporting Goods Park hosted the MLS All-Star game. David Beckham made an appearance and participated in a special introduction to the fans on hand as well as in a halftime ESPN interview, and watched the game from the Commissioner's Box. The MLS All-Stars defeated Celtic 2–0, giving them a perfect 4–0 record against international competition. Thomas Gravesen (; born 11 March 1976) is a Danish former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Shunsuke Nakamura
is a Japanese former professional footballer. He is the only person to have been named J.League Most Valuable Player more than once, receiving the award in 2000 and 2013. Stephen David McManus (born 10 September 1982) is a Scottish professional football coach and former player who is a first team coach at Scottish Premiership club Celtic. McManus, who played as a centre-back, was a product of Celtic's youth academy and rose through the ranks to become first team captain ahead of the 2007–08 season. Artur Boruc
Artur Boruc (; born 20 February 1980) is a Polish former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He began his career in the Polish third division with hometown club Pogoń Siedlce. He joined Ekstraklasa team Legia Warsaw in 1999 and, whilst still a reserve, had a spell on loan at Dolcan Ząbki in 2000.
