Victory Sports Club is a Maldivian sports club based in Malé and founded 3 July 1971, that includes a football team amongst other sports. Victory is one of the most successful football clubs in Maldives, winning a record 21 National Championships. New Radiant SC
New Radiant Sports Club is a Maldivian professional football club based in Henveiru – Malé, Maldives. The club was founded on 19 August 1979 by Ahmed Waheed and his friend Ahammadhanik. New Radiant has won all domestic competitions being held in the Maldives and the club is the most successful in the Maldives in terms of trophies won and is also the most successful Maldivian club in the international arena. They were semi-finalists in the AFC Cup in 2005 and the only Maldivian club to have progressed beyond group stages in the AFC cup in multiple occasions. President's Cup (Maldives)
President's Cup (known before 2005 as the National Championship) is said to be the first tournament in the Maldives and also the birth of Football in the Maldives. The very first tournament was held in 1946, with 2006 seeing its 50th edition. The first edition ended with Customs and Naadhee Ahthamadhun both sharing the trophy. The current format of the President's Cup allows only the top four teams of the Dhivehi League to participate. Malé (, ; dv, މާލެ) is the capital and most populous city of the Maldives. With a population of 252,768 and an area of , it is also one of the most densely populated cities in the world. The city is geographically located at the southern edge of North Malé Atoll ( Kaafu Atoll). Club Valencia is a Maldivian football club based in Malé, Maldives. Nicknamed ''The Sunrisers'', the club competes in the Dhivehi Premier League, the top tier of Maldivian football. History The notion of establishing a football club named Club Valencia arose in the late 1970s from the players of blue and gold teams participating in the Junior Football Pool organized by National Sports Academy.
