2005 Atlantic Championship
The 2005 Toyota Atlantic Championship season was contested over 12 rounds. 14 different teams and 27 different drivers competed. In this one-make formula all drivers had to utilize Swift chassis and Toyota engines. This season also saw a C2-class running older Swift chassis and Toyota engines. In C2-class 12 different drivers competed, but none of them for the whole season. Fernando Rees (born January 4, 1985) is a retired Brazilian racecar driver. He started his career racing with go-karts back in 1993 at age 8. Fernando made his international single-seaters' debut in 2001, his endurance racing debut in 2007, and has recently competed in various international racing championships. Bob Siska
Robert Siska (born December 1, 1942) is an American former tennis player and motorsport driver. A left-handed player from San Francisco, Siska made the singles third round of the 1959 U.S. National Championships as a teenager and competed on the international tour through the 1960s. He featured in the Wimbledon singles main draw four times and won his first round match in 1963, over Ion Țiriac. At the tournament now known as the Cincinnati Masters, he reached the round of 16 in singles in 1965. Siska, who worked in real estate, financed his own career in motor racing after tennis. He competed in several seasons of the Atlantic Championship and later in the Formula Renault. Bobby Wilson (born October 6, 1981 in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin) is an American former racing driver. An accomplished karter, Wilson won the "Stars of Tomorrow" championship and the Jim Trueman Scholarship in 2003 and was Shifter Kart Illustrated's driver of the year. He moved up to cars the following year and won the Formula Ford 2000 Zetec championship with four wins in his rookie season. Menninga started in the Barber Dodge Pro Series where he raced from 1995 to 1997, winning a race and finishing fourth in points his final year.
