Club Social de Deportes Rangers is a Chilean football club based in the city of Talca. The club was founded November 2, 1902 and plays in the second level of the Chilean football system. Their home games are played at the Fiscal stadium, which has a capacity of 16,000 seats. History The name Rangers was chosen by a Scotsman, Juan Greenstret, who was one of the founding fathers of the Club on behalf of Mrs. Amalia Neale de Silva, the first benefactress of the club. Sebastián Miguel Miranda Córdova (born 26 August 1980) is a Chilean football manager and former player who played as a defender. He currently works in the technical staff of the Chile national youth teams. Club career Unión Española Miranda began his professional career in 1996 after joining the Unión Española youth team. Daniel Fernando Pérez Reyes (born 11 August 1975) is an Argentine–born Chilean former professional footballer who played as a forward. Club career Born in Trelew, Chubut Province, Pérez started his career at hometown club Comisión de Actividades Infantiles in the Argentine third-tier in 1998. José Luis Jerez Cerna (born 26 June 1978) is a Chilean former professional football midfielder. In his prime, Jerez was known for his explosiveness and ball skills. Penalty Shoot-out (association Football)
A penalty shoot-out (officially kicks from the penalty mark) is a tie-breaking method in association football to determine which team is awarded victory in a match that cannot end in a draw, when the score is tied after the normal time as well as extra time (if used) have expired. In a penalty shoot-out, each team takes turns shooting at goal from the penalty mark, with the goal defended only by the opposing team's goalkeeper. Each team has five shots which must be taken by different kickers; the team that makes more successful kicks is declared the victor. Shoot-outs finish as soon as one team has an insurmountable lead. If scores are level after five pairs of shots, the shootout progresses into additional " sudden-death" rounds. Santiago Wanderers
Club de Deportes Santiago Wanderers is a football club based in Valparaíso, a founding member of the Chilean Football Federation. Their home ground, Estadio Elías Figueroa Brander, is in the north-west of the city. Wanderers have played their games there since 1931 after moving from Barrio Puerto. Founded on 15 August 1892, it's the country's oldest club and the oldest football team in Latin America as well.
