The 2004 National Camogie League is a competition in the women's team field sport of camogie was won by Tipperary, who defeated Wexford in the final, played at Nowlan Park. Arrangements Wexford overcame defending champions Cork in the semi-final at Wexford Park with a brilliant second half display. Cork, who had the wind advantage in the opening half, were 0-11 to 0-3 ahead at half time. Tipperary GAA
The Tipperary County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) ( ga, Cumann Lúthchleas Gael Coiste Chontae Thiobraid Árann) or Tipperary GAA is one of the 32 county boards of the GAA in Ireland, and is responsible for Gaelic games in County Tipperary and the Tipperary county teams. Claire Grogan is a camogie (women's hurling) player, winner of three All-Star awards in 2004, 2005 and 2007 and a Lynchpin award, predecessor of the All Star awards, in 2003. She was short-listed for further All-Star awards in 2004, 2006, 2008 and 2009. Career In 2000, she became the youngest player to figure in an All-Ireland senior final since the mid-1950s at the age of 14, something that is no longer possible under camogie rules. She was the outstanding player in that year’s minor championship. It was the first of seven successive All Ireland finals in which she played for Tipperary, and she set up Emily Hayden for the opening goal after four minutes. She won five All Ireland medals, hitting the point of the match in 2000, scoring a goal in 2001, 2002, 2003 and scoring nine points in 2004. Kildangan GAA
Kiladangan GAA is a Tipperary GAA club which is located in County Tipperary, Ireland. Hurling is the main sport which is played in the "North Tipperary" divisional competitions. The club is centred on the village of Puckane but includes the areas of Ballycommon, Monsea and Dromineer near Nenagh. Kiladangan was formerly known as Kildangan GAA, however in January 2016 the club reverted to its former name of Kiladangan GAA. At the present time both club names are used interchangeably. Hurling club history From the foundation of the club in 1915, teams competed in the various championships in County Tipperary – Senior, Intermediate and Junior under various guises, namely Kiladangan, Kildangan, Ballycommon, Carney, Knigh and Lahorna.
