The 91st Grey Cup was the 2003 Canadian Football League championship game played between the Edmonton Eskimos and the Montreal Alouettes on November 16 at Taylor Field, in Regina, Saskatchewan before 50,909 fans. The two teams had played during the previous year with Montreal winning, but this time the Eskimos won the game by a score of 34–22. Mosaic Stadium At Taylor Field
Taylor Field, known in its latter years as Mosaic Stadium at Taylor Field for sponsorship reasons, was an open-air stadium located in Regina, Saskatchewan. It was the home field of the Canadian Football League's Saskatchewan Roughriders from 1936 until 2016, although a playing field existed at the site as early as 1910 and the team began playing there as early as 1921. Originally designed primarily to house baseball (with football being a secondary consideration) the stadium was converted to a football-only facility in 1966. Taylor Field was also the home field for the University of Regina Rams, who play in U Sports' Canada West conference, the Regina Thunder, who play in the Canadian Junior Football League; and the Regina Riot of the Western Women's Canadian Football League. Chris Walby
Chris Walby (born October 23, 1956) is a retired Canadian Football League player who played the offensive tackle position almost exclusively with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. He won three Grey Cups with the Bombers in 72nd Grey Cup, 1984, 76th Grey Cup, 1988, and 78th Grey Cup, 1990. Walby was also a sportscaster with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation's ''CFL on CBC'' telecasts following his retirement. Sylvain Girard (born October 3, 1975) is a retired professional Canadian football wide receiver who played eight seasons for the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League. Pat Woodcock
Patrick Ian Woodcock (born April 27, 1977) is a former Canadian football wide receiver. Woodcock attended American College at Syracuse University between 1997 and 2000 and he attended Holy Trinity Catholic High School (Kanata), Holy Trinity Catholic High School, which is located in Kanata, Ontario. He was signed as a free agent by the New York Giants of the National Football League in 2001 and made two appearances on special teams, returning six kickoffs for 113 yards and two punts for 16 yards, but was released in Week 3. He was then signed by the Montreal Alouettes of the CFL where he went on to win a Grey Cup with them in 2002. Sean Fleming (gridiron Football)
Sean Fleming (born March 19, 1970) is a former professional Canadian football placekicker and punter. Fleming was drafted sixth overall by the Canadian Football League's Edmonton Eskimos out of the University of Wyoming in the 1992 CFL Draft. He attended Vancouver College when he was in high school. Fleming played sixteen seasons in the Canadian Football League, all with the Eskimos. Ricky Ray (born October 22, 1979) is an American former professional Canadian football quarterback. Ray spent the majority of his professional career with the Edmonton Eskimos and Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League (CFL). Mike Pringle (Canadian Football)
Michael A. Pringle (born October 1, 1967) is an American former professional football player. A running back, he had a successful career in the Canadian Football League (CFL), during which he set or tied almost every significant league records for the position. He played college football for the California State University, Fullerton Titans and was twice signed by National Football League (NFL) teams, though he saw very limited playing time. Along with George Reed and Johnny Bright, Pringle is one of the players most often mentioned as being the greatest running back in CFL history. 90th Grey Cup
The 90th Grey Cup was the 2002 Canadian Football League championship game played between the Edmonton Eskimos and the Montreal Alouettes on November 24 at Commonwealth Stadium, in Edmonton, Alberta. The Alouettes defeated the Eskimos 25–16 in the first all-Canadian CFL championship game to feature the host team since 1983. It was Don Matthews' fifth Grey Cup title as a head coach, tying him with Lew Hayman, Frank Clair and Hugh Campbell for the all-time record. This was last Grey Cup game to be played on natural grass in Edmonton. By the time Edmonton hosted its next Grey Cup game in 2010, its stadium had switched over to artificial turf.
