Bydgoszcz
Bydgoszcz ( , , ; german: Bromberg) is a city in northern Poland, straddling the meeting of the River Vistula with its left-bank tributary, the Brda. Ladji Doucouré (born 28 March 1983 in Juvisy-sur-Orge, department of Essonne in France) is a French track and field athlete. Vasyl Matviychuk or Vasyl Oleksandrovych Matviichuk ( uk, Василь Олександрович Матвійчук; born 13 January 1982) is a Ukrainian long-distance runner. Career Matviychuk is a three-time national champion for the 5000 and 10,000 metres. In 2001, he won the gold medal in the junior division at the European Cross Country Championships in Thun, Switzerland, with a time of 19 minutes and 29 seconds. He also set a personal best time of 2:10:36, by finishing fifth at the 2008 Turin Marathon. Christopher Thompson (born 17 April 1981) is a British long-distance runner, who won the silver medal in the 10,000 metres at the 2010 European Athletics Championships in Barcelona, on 27 July 2010 behind his compatriot Mo Farah. Prior to his 2010 medal win he had won the European U23 5000 m Championship in 2003. However he was initially unable to build on this victory, as he had substantial injury problems for a number of years. He is currently coached by Alan Storey.
