Darold Williamson (born February 19, 1983) is an American track athlete. He ran the anchor leg on the gold medal winning 4x400 meter relay team at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens. He also won World Championship gold medals on two subsequent relay teams. He is 2005 graduate of Baylor University in Waco, Texas, where he won the Big 12 Conference championship in the 400 meter run three years in a row (2001–2003). Each of the aforementioned relay teams also included Baylor teammate Jeremy Wariner. Solomon Naibei Busendich (born January 10, 1984, in Mount Elgon) is a male long-distance runner from Kenya, who won the 2006 edition of the Amsterdam Marathon as a debutant, clocking 2:08:52 hours. Biography He won his first international title at the 2001 African Junior Athletics Championships in Réduit, winning the 10,000 metres event on August 16, 2001, and also winning the 5000 metres silver medal. He followed this up with a 10,000 m bronze medal at the 2002 World Junior Championships in Athletics, finishing behind Gebregziabher Gebremariam and Sileshi Sihine. Sileshi Sihine ( Amharic: ስለሺ ስህኔ; born January 29, 1983 in Sheno) is a retired Ethiopian long-distance runner. Sileshi won silver medals in the 10,000 metres at both the 2004 Athens Olympics and the 2008 Beijing Olympics as well as at the 2005 World Championships and 2007 World Championships as well as a bronze medal in 2003. Gebregziabher Gebremariam (born September 10, 1984 in Tigray) is a retired Ethiopian long-distance runner. He established himself at the IAAF World Cross Country Championships, winning the junior title in 2002 and two silver medals in the senior races in 2004. He represented Ethiopia over 5000 metres at the 2004 Summer Olympics, taking fourth place, and over 10000 metres at the 2012 Summer Olympics. He was the 2009 World Champion in cross country. Markos Geneti (born May 30, 1984 in Gute, Oromia Region) is an Ethiopian long-distance runner who previously competed in track running, but now is a road specialist. Biography He won the 3000 metres title at the 2001 World Youth Championships in Athletics and stepped up a level to take the silver medal over 5000 metres at the 2002 World Junior Championships in Athletics the following year.
