Lukáš Dryml
Lukáš Dryml (born 16 April 1981 in Pardubice, Czechoslovakia) is an international speedway rider who represented the Czech Republic speedway team in the Speedway World Cup. He is a former World U-21 and European U-19 Champion. His father Aleš Sr. was also a Czech international rider. He has twice won the European Pairs Championship (2004 and 2007) with brother Aleš Jr. He will return to the Speedway Grand Prix series in 2008 after finishing second in the 2008 Speedway Grand Prix Qualification tournament. He was part of the Oxford Cheetahs title winning team in 2001. Dryml signed a temporary contract to ride for the Eastbourne Eagles in 2009 after the Eagles encountered difficulties obtaining a British work permit for Russian rider Denis Gizatullin. Motorcycle Speedway
Motorcycle speedway, usually referred to simply as speedway, is a motorcycle sport involving four and sometimes up to six riders competing over four anti-clockwise laps of an oval circuit. The motorcycles are specialist machines that use only one gear and have no brakes. Racing takes place on a flat oval track usually consisting of dirt, loosely packed shale, or crushed rock (mostly used in Australia and New Zealand). Competitors use this surface to slide their machines sideways, powersliding or broadsiding into the bends. On the straight sections of the track, the motorcycles reach speeds of up to . Robert Kessler (born 5 April 1973 in Neuwied, West Germany) is a former motorcycle speedway rider, from Germany. Career Kessler represented Germany at the Speedway World Team Cup. He was the German under-21 champion in 1992 and 1993. He started his British league career with Sheffield Tigers in 1994. He spent five seasons with them from 1994 to 2001, although in between he had a season with King's Lynn Stars. He then moved to Hull Vikings in 2002 before switching to Stoke Potters in 2003.
