Bucheon SK
Jeju United Football Club (Hangul: 제주 유나이티드) is a South Korean professional football club based in Jeju Province that competes in the K League 1, the top division in South Korea. In the past, the club has been known as the ''Yukong Elephants'' and ''Bucheon SK''. History An original member of the K League founded on 17 December 1982, the team was then called the Yukong Elephants. Yukong was owned and financially supported by the Sunkyoung Group's subsidiary, Yukong (currently SK Group's "SK Energy"), along with Seoul, Incheon, Gyeonggi as its franchise. The '' Kokkiri'' (elephant) was its mascot. The club won the league championship on only one occasion (in 1989). Kim Do-hoon (; born 21 July 1970) is a South Korean professional football manager and former player. He was most recently the manager of Singaporean club Lion City Sailors before his 11 August 2022 resignation. Saša Drakulić (Serbian Cyrillic: Саша Дракулић; born 28 August 1972) is a retired Serbian footballer. The striker went to South Korea in 1995 and during his nine seasons in the K League made a name for himself as one of the most successful foreign players ever in the league. Goran Petreski ( mk, Горан Петрески) (born 23 May 1972 in SFR Yugoslavia) is a football coach from North Macedonia. Cheick Oumar Dabo (born 12 January 1981 in Bamako) is a Malian football player. Club career Bucheon SK Dabo joined Bucheon SK in 2002. One of very few Africans playing in South Korea, Dabo earned a spot in the K-League All-Stars Soccer in 2002 and 2003, scoring in both games.
