Masahiro Oishi
Masahiro Oishi (born November 29, 1968) is a Japanese mixed martial artist. He competes in the Bantamweight and Featherweight divisions. He has competed for numerous promotions during his career, most notably Shooto, Pancrase and ZST. He is the former Shooto World Featherweight (132 lb) Champion. Martial arts career Oishi made his debut in 1993, in Shooto, when he faced Yoshiaki Murai, winning a unanimous decision. He would accumulate a 7-5-3- record, but earned a title shot off of a two fight win streak over Masaki Nishizawa and Yoshinobu Ota. During Shooto: To The Top 10, he faced the reigning featherweight champion Mamoru Yamaguchi. He won the fight in the first round by submission. He defended the title versus Hisao Ikeda, before losing it to Ryota Matsune through a unanimous decision. From there Oishi moved to ZST. Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium
is an indoor sporting arena located in Namba, Osaka, Japan. It first opened in 1952 and the current building was constructed in 1987. It is the venue of a professional sumo tournament (honbasho) held in March every year. The capacity of the arena is 8,000 people. Its total revenue for the 2006 fiscal year was 260 million yen, of which sumo provided 80 million. In April 2008 the Japan Sumo Association made clear its surprise at plans by the prefectural government to demolish the gymnasium and sell the vacant lot. In March 2012, the arena was renamed after the naming rights were sold to sports apparel company BB Sports for the next three years. Korakuen Hall
is a famous sports arena in Bunkyo, Tokyo, Japan, which has hosted many notable boxing, professional wrestling, kickboxing, mixed martial arts and Lethwei matches. History On April 16, 1962, the Korakuen Hall was officially opened with a capacity of approximately 2,000 people. It is located inside the Tokyo Dome City, one of Tokyo's biggest attractions. The venue hosted the boxing events for the 1964 Summer Olympics. In the area of pro wrestling, it is considered the Madison Square Garden of puroresu, as all of Japan's largest promotions have run some of their larger shows inside the hall, much akin to the WWF/E's monthly show at MSG in the 1980s.
