2001 Men's Champions Trophy (field Hockey)
The 2001 Men's Hockey Champions Trophy was the 23rd edition of the Hockey Champions Trophy men's field hockey tournament. It was reorganised to take place in Rotterdam, Netherlands on the scheduled dates of 3–11 November 2001. The event will take place at HC Rotterdam’s brand new NLG 24 million, 8,000-seating facility, which opened in August and was the first world level event at the venue. Craig Victory
Craig Victory (born 3 February 1980 in Adelaide, South Australia) is a field hockey striker from Australia who played 102 international games for the Australia men's national field hockey team, the Kookaburras. He is a Commonwealth Games, World Cup and Champions Trophy Gold Medalist and was an Olympic Bronze Medalist with the Australia men's national field hockey team the Kookaburras at the 2000 in Sydney. As a successful coach, he has served as head coach of the South Australian Sports Institute (SASI) hockey program, head coach of the 2011 winning SA Suns (formerly Southern Suns) in the Australian Hockey League, Australian Junior Women's coach and assistant coach to the gold medal-winning Hockeyroos at the 2014 Commonwealth Games. Mark Pearn
Mark Pearn (born 21 March 1977 in Bristol, England) is a male retired English field hockey player. Hockey career Pearn was a member of the England and Great Britain squads, making his debut for England against the Netherlands in the 1995 Champions Trophy in Berlin. He scored his first international goal against India in the tournament to become the youngest player to score for England at just 18 years old. He participated in two Summer Olympics in 2000 and 2004, as well as in the 1998 Men's Hockey World Cup, the 2002 Men's Hockey World Cup, the 1998 Commonwealth Games and the 2002 Commonwealth Games. Pearn was voted UK Player of the Year by members of the Hockey Writers' Club twice, in 2000 and 2011. Brent James Livermore OAM (born 5 July 1976 in Grafton, New South Wales) is a field hockey midfielder from Australia. He was first selected in the Australian team in 1997, and was awarded the Kookaburras player of the year award in 2001. He was also nominated of the FIH Player of the Year awards in 2002 and 2005. He has played over 300 matches for the Australian team, and has scored 30 international goals. He plays for the NSW Waratahs in the Australian Hockey League. Brent Livermore won the gold medal with the Kooraburras at the 2004 Olympics, but was omitted from the 2008 Olympic squad that placed third in Beijing.
