The PGA Tour (stylized in all capital letters as PGA TOUR by its officials) is the organizer of professional golf tours in the United States and North America. The Korn Ferry Tour is the developmental tour for the U.S.-based PGA Tour, and features professional golfers who have either not yet reached the PGA Tour, or who have done so but then failed to win enough FedEx Cup points to stay at that level. Justin Charles Garrett Leonard (born June 15, 1972) is an American professional golfer. He has twelve career wins on the PGA Tour, including one major, the 1997 Open Championship. Early years Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Leonard graduated from Lake Highlands High School in 1990. He attended the University of Texas in Austin and was the individual NCAA champion in 1994. Leonard won the 1992 U.S. Amateur, was a two-time All-American (1993, 1994), and won the Haskins Award in 1994 as the most outstanding collegiate golfer. That same year, he became only the fourth player to go directly from college to the PGA Tour without going through Q School, following Gary Hallberg, Scott Verplank, and Phil Mickelson. The Texas Open, known as the Valero Texas Open for sponsorship reasons, is a professional golf tournament on the PGA Tour, played near San Antonio, Texas. It dates back years to 1922, when it was first called the Texas Open; San Antonio-based Valero Energy Corporation took over naming rights in 2002. David Gossett
David Spencer Gossett (born April 28, 1979) is an American professional golfer who played on the PGA Tour and the Web.com Tour (formerly the Nationwide Tour). Gossett was born in Phoenix, Arizona. His father introduced him to the game of golf and he competed in his first tournament at age 10. He went to Germantown High School in Germantown, Tennessee. and was part of the IMG golf academy in Bradenton Florida (it was then called, David Leadbetter Golf Academy). Gossett attended the University of Texas, and was a two-time first-team All-American member of the golf team. John Deere Classic
The John Deere Classic is a professional golf tournament on the PGA Tour. It is played annually in July, usually the week before The Open Championship, at TPC Deere Run in the Quad Cities community of Silvis, Illinois. Jeffrey George Sluman (born September 11, 1957) is an American professional golfer who has won numerous professional golf tournaments including six PGA Tour victories. Early years Sluman was born and reared in Rochester, New York. After graduating from Greece Arcadia High School in 1975 and Monroe Community College in 1977, he attended Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. Frank Lickliter
Franklin Ray Lickliter II (born July 28, 1969) is an American professional golfer. He featured in the top 50 of the Official World Golf Ranking, going as high as 41st in 2001. Early life Lickliter was born in Middletown, Ohio, adjacent to his hometown of Franklin, Ohio. Lickliter is a 1987 graduate of Franklin High School and a 1991 graduate of nearby Wright State University. Professional career Lickliter turned professional in 1991. He first joined the Nike Tour (now called the Korn Ferry Tour), where he earned a win in 1995. He joined the PGA Tour in 1996, and won events in 2001 and 2003. Kemper Insurance Open
The Kemper Open was a golf tournament on the PGA Tour from 1968 to 2006. Perhaps more so than any other "regular" PGA Tour stop, the event wandered about, not just from course to course within a given metropolitan area, but along the East Coast. Originally sponsored by the Kemper Corporation, the inaugural event was played in 1968 at Pleasant Valley Country Club in Sutton, Massachusetts, before moving to the Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina the following year, where it stayed through 1979. (The Wells Fargo Championship is now held in Charlotte.) Jeff Hart (golfer)
Jeffrey Robert Hart (born May 5, 1960) is an American professional golfer. He has played on the PGA Tour, Nationwide Tour, and Champions Tour. Hart was born in Pomona, California. He played college golf at the University of Southern California where he was a two-time All-American. Hart played on the PGA Tour (1985, 1989–90, 1996–97, 2001, 2005) and Nationwide Tour (1992–93, 1995, 2000, 2002–04, 2006) over a 20-year span.
