Buy.com title sponsorship In October 1999, it was announced that the tour had signed a title sponsorship agreement with Buy.com, being renamed as the Buy.com Tour. Tim Clark (golfer)
Timothy Henry Clark (born 17 December 1975) is a South African professional golfer who currently plays on the PGA Tour. His biggest win was The Players Championship in 2010, which was also his first PGA Tour win. Early life and amateur career Clark was born in Durban, South Africa. He took up golf at the age of three and was taught to play by his father. He attended North Carolina State University in the United States, where he had a successful college golf career, winning ACC Player of the Year in 1997. During this time he won the 1997 U.S. Amateur Public Links to qualify for his first major, the 1998 Masters Tournament. Ian Donald Leggatt (born September 23, 1965) is a Canadians, Canadian professional golfer. Early life Leggatt was born in Galt, Ontario, Galt, now part of Cambridge, Ontario. Jason William Gore (born May 17, 1974) is an American professional golfer. Amateur career Gore was born in Van Nuys, California. He grew up playing junior golf with Tiger Woods. Gore attended the University of Arizona, then transferred to Pepperdine University. At Pepperdine, he was part of their NCAA Division I Championship team in 1997. He also played on the victorious Walker Cup team that year. Professional career Gore turned professional in 1997. Richard Johnson (born 2 February 1972) is a Welsh professional golfer. Early life Johnson's father, Peter, is the former pro at Vale of Glamorgan in Cardiff, Wales and is chairman of the PGA in Wales. Peter Johnson is now the professional at Ridgeway Golf Club in Caerphilly. Professional career Johnson played on the PGA Tour's developmental tour from 1999 to 2007. During the final year of this timespan, he led the Nationwide Tour's money list to earn his PGA Tour card. However, he was unable to retain his card and returned to the Nationwide Tour. Keoke Cotner (born July 11, 1971) is an American professional golfer who played on the Nationwide Tour. Cotner joined the Nationwide Tour in 2000. Darron Gary Stiles (born June 1, 1973) is an American professional golfer. Stiles was born in St. Petersburg, Florida. He was a three-time All-America at Florida Southern College and was a member of the 1995 NCAA Division II National Championship team. Kevin James Johnson (born April 25, 1967) is an American professional golfer. College career Johnson was born in Plymouth, Massachusetts. Shane Thomas Bertsch (born March 30, 1970) is an American professional golfer who has played on the PGA Tour. Bertsch was born in Denver, Colorado. He turned professional in 1994. Bertsch has won twice on the Nationwide Tour, once in 2000 and once in 2005. His best PGA Tour finish was a tie for fifth at the 1996 Greater Vancouver Open.
