2nd IIFA Awards
The 2001 IIFA Awards, officially known as the 2nd International Indian Film Academy Awards ceremony, presented by the International Indian Film Academy honoured the best films of 2000 and took place between June 16, 2001. This year, the city of Sun City played host to the Indian Film Industry. The official ceremony took place on June 16, 2001, at the Sun City, in Super Bowl Arena Sun City . Sun City, North West
Sun City is a luxury resort and casino, situated in the North West Province of South Africa. It is located between the Elands River and the Pilanesberg, about 140 km northwest of Johannesburg, near the city of Rustenburg. The complex borders the Pilanesberg National Park.
