2nd Half is a 2018 crime-thriller film in Kannada, directed by debutant Yogi Devegange and produced by Nagesh under the banner Brindavan Enterprises and stars Priyanka Upendra, Surabhi Santosh and Niranjan Sudhindra in the lead. The cinematography is by R K Shivakumar and music direction is handled by Chetan Sosca. Background Talking about her character in 2nd Half, Priyanka Upendra was quoted saying "The movie's content is such that it talks about the khakhi profession and highlights how juniors are treated insignificantly by seniors. Nagesh
Nagesh (born Cheyur Krishnarao Nageshwaran; (27 September 1933 – 31 January 2009) was an Indian actor, mostly remembered for his roles as a comedian in Tamil films during the 1960s. Nagesh was born in Dharapuram. He acted in over 1,000 films from 1958 to 2008, performing in a variety of roles as comedian, lead roles, supporting actor and antagonist. He has also acted in Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi and Kannada films. Nagesh's style of comedy was largely inspired by Hollywood actor Jerry Lewis. Priyanka Upendra (née Trivedi) is an Indian actress who predominantly appears in Kannada Language films. Early life Priyanka was born in Calcutta (now Kolkata). Her mother is from West Bengal and father from Uttar Pradesh. She spent ten years of her schooling life in the US and about three years in Singapore, before graduating with a commerce degree from a college in Kolkata. Niranjan Sudhindra (born 20 August 1996) is an Indian actor who works in Kannada films. He made his debut as a child actor in Bellary Naga (2009). Early life Niranjan Sudhindra was born to Sudhindra Kumar B.M. and Veena S.K. He is the nephew of ‘Real Star’ Upendra and Priyanka Upendra. He has a younger sibling Nidarshan Sudhindra.
