2 Headed Dog is a four-man comedy troupe based in Los Angeles, composed of comedians Jim Turner, Mark Fite, Craig Anton, and Dave Allen. The Steve Allen Theater served as the troupe's home base, where they performed regularly until the theater closed. The group has appeared at numerous comedy clubs and festivals such as Festival Supreme over the years, as well as repeat performances at Lucha VaVOOM and the Brookledge Follies. Clowntown City Limits 2 Headed Dog performed the comedic theatre piece ''Clowntown City Limits,'' about four down-and-out clowns, many times. It was written by the troupe, with additional material by Joel Madison, Dale Goodson, and Bob Rucker; with music by Andy Paley, and directed by John Ferraro. ''Clowntown City Limits'' was described by LA Weekly ''LA Weekly'' is a free weekly alternative newspaper in Los Angeles, California. Jim Turner (comedian)
Jim Turner (born October 28, 1952) is an American actor and stand-up comedian. He is best known for his supporting roles as Kirby Carlisle in '' Arli$$'' (1996–2002) and as Larry in '' Bewitched'' (2005). Life and career Turner was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado. His father, George Turner, was in the Air Force and moved his family around often during Jim's youth to several locations, including Quebec, Arizona, and Iowa. Turner married Lynn Freer in 1992 and they have a son, Otto. He is a longtime member of the comedy troupe Duck's Breath Mystery Theatre. He co-starred for seven seasons in HBO's comedy series '' Arliss'' as Kirby Carlisle, an ex-football-star-turned-agent and an old buddy of sports agent Arliss Michaels (Robert Wuhl). Mark Elliott Fite is an American actor and comedian. Career Fite is a founding member of the comedy group 2 Headed Dog with comedians Jim Turner, Dave Allen, and Craig Anton. He is known for creating roles and performing in comedy shows including ''The Tony Martini Variety Hour'', ''Bob's Office Party'', ''The Rudy Casoni Show'', ''Girly Magazine Party'', Clowntown City Limits, and Wife Swappers. Craig Anton
Craig Ward Anton (born August 28, 1962) is an American actor and comedian. He is best known for his roles as Mr. Pettus in ''Lizzie McGuire'' and Lloyd Diffy in ''Phil of the Future''. Early life Anton was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, the eldest son of Antoinette (Akromis) and Arthur Ward Anton. He has a younger brother, Brian, and two sisters, Toni and Megan. The Steve Allen Theater at the Center for Inquiry in Hollywood, California, was a 99-seat theater which was developed by founding artistic director Amit Itelman.
