27th House Of Representatives Of Puerto Rico
The 27th House of Representatives of Puerto Rico was the lower house of the 15th Legislative Assembly of Puerto Rico and met from January 14, 2005, to January 8, 2009. All members were elected in the Puerto Rican general election, 2004, General Elections of 2004. The House had a majority of members from the New Progressive Party of Puerto Rico, New Progressive Party (PNP). The body was counterparted by the 23rd Senate of Puerto Rico in the upper house. José Aponte Hernández
Jose Fernando Aponte Hernández (born January 19, 1958) is an accountant and former Speaker of the House of Representatives of Puerto Rico. He was born in San Juan and obtained a bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Puerto Rico at Rio Piedras in 1980. Personal life Aponte is married to Aida I. Rodríguez Roig, and has two sons and one daughter. He currently resides in San Lorenzo. He was the New Progressive Party (PNP) General Secretary during the Rossello administration. Liza Fernández Rodríguez (born July 23, 1973) is a Puerto Rican attorney and politician affiliated with the New Progressive Party (PNP). José Luis Rivera Guerra (born October 7, 1973 in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico) is a Puerto Rican politician affiliated with the New Progressive Party (PNP). He was a member of the Puerto Rico House of Representatives representing the 17th District from 2000 to 2013. He was reelected in 2016. He resigned on July 31, 2018. In 2011, Rivera Guerra was in the middle of a scandal, when it was revealed there were some irregularities regarding the registration and permits of his residence. Although the Ethics Committee of the House of Representatives initially dismissed the complaint, the case caused a public uproar among local newspapers and received major media attention. Carlos Molina Rodríguez (born August 27, 1974) is a Puerto Rican politician and the former mayor of Arecibo. Molina is affiliated with the New Progressive Party (PNP) and served as mayor from 2013 until 2021. Previously, He studied primary and higher in the public schools of the town of Arecibo.
