25th Annual Premios Gardel
The 25th Annual Premios Gardel ceremony were held on May 16, 2023, at the Movistar Arena in Buenos Aires, for the second consecutive year. It recognized the best recordings, compositions and artists of the eligibility year, from January 1 to December 31, 2022, as determined by the members of the Argentine Chamber of Phonograms and Videograms Producers. The nominees for the different categories were announced on April 11 of the same year. The ceremony was presented by Iván de Pineda, who hosted the 2019 ceremony; and broadcast live through the Star+ platform. Bandalos Chinos is an Argentine indie pop band formed in 2009. Los Auténticos Decadentes (Spanish for "The Authentic Decadents") is an Argentine band that mixes ska with Latin American rhythms. The band was formed around the year 1986 by Cucho and Nito, who invited Gastón to join them. Los Ángeles Azules are a Mexican musical group that plays the ''cumbia sonidera'' genre, which is a cumbia subgenre using the accordion and synthesizers.
