24th Annual D.I.C.E. Awards
The 24th Annual D.I.C.E. Awards is the 24th edition of the D.I.C.E. Awards ("Design Innovate Communicate Entertain"), an annual awards event that honors the best games in the video game industry. The awards were arranged by the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences (AIAS), and were held on April 22, 2021. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event was held virtually. Winners of the D.I.C.E. Awards are determined by ballot of industry experts and AIAS members. The show was hosted by Greg Miller, Jessica Chobot, and Kahlief Adams. The nominees were announced on January 26, 2021. It was originally scheduled for April 8. ''The Last of Us Part II'' and its developer Naughty Dog received the most nominations, and ''Hades'' and its developer Supergiant Games won the most awards, including Game of the Year. Jessica Chobot
Jessica Chobot (born Jessica Lynn Horn; July 7, 1977) is an American on-camera host and writer. She has hosted the IGN shows ''IGN Strategize'' and ''Weekly Wood'', which also runs on Xbox Live; she previously worked as presenter of the ''IGN Daily Fix''. Since 2013, she was the primary host of ''Nerdist News'' and ''Nerdist News Talks Back'' for Nerdist Industries. In 2014, she launched her own podcast titled ''Bizarre States''. Sucker Punch Productions, LLC is an American video game developer based in Bellevue, Washington. Neil Druckmann ( he, ניל דרוקמן; born December 5, 1978) is an Israeli-American writer, creative director, designer, and programmer who has been co-president (alongside Evan Wells) of the video game developer Naughty Dog since 2020. He is best known for his work on the Naughty Dog game franchises ''Uncharted'' and ''The Last of Us'', having created the latter. Druckmann's first video game work came as an intern at Naughty Dog. Evan Wells is an American video game designer and programmer, and co-president of Naughty Dog. Wells' first video game was at Sega, where he worked on ''ToeJam & Earl in Panic on Funkotron'', before moving to Crystal Dynamics in 1995 to work on '' Gex'' and '' Gex: Enter the Gecko''. Tetsuya Nomura
is a Japanese video game artist, designer and director working for Square Enix (formerly Square). He designed characters for the ''Final Fantasy'' series, debuting with ''Final Fantasy VI'' and continuing with various later installments.
