''Paddington 2'' is a 2017 live-action animated comedy film directed by Paul King and written by King and Simon Farnaby. Based on the stories of Paddington Bear, created by Michael Bond (to whom the film is also dedicated, Bond having died that year), it is the sequel to ''Paddington'' (2014), and is produced by Heyday Films and StudioCanal UK. James Francis Ivory (born June 7, 1928) is an American film director, producer, and screenwriter. Ian Martin (born 1953) is an English comedy writer. Martin was a writer for the BAFTA-winning BBC series ''The Thick of It''. Armando Giovanni Iannucci (; born 28 November 1963) is a Scottish satirist, writer, director, producer, performer, and panellist. Born in Glasgow to Italian parents, Iannucci studied at the University of Glasgow followed by the University of Oxford.
