22-20s
22-20s were an English blues rock band, formed in 2002 in Sleaford, Lincolnshire. The band originally disbanded in December 2005 before reforming in 2008 and releasing ''Shake/Shiver/Moan'' in 2010 and ''Got It If You Want It'' in 2012. They disbanded for a second time in early 2013, before reforming again in late 2019. The band's songs have regularly featured in adverts and films, most notably "Devil in Me" which was featured on the Vauxhall Astra television commercial in early 2016 and later a commercial for the ''Racing Post''. They have also featured on numerous high-profile soundtracks, including the Guy Ritchie film ''RocknRolla'', ''London Boulevard'', '' Cry Wolf'', '' Stoned'', ''One Tree Hill,'' and '' Driver: San Francisco''. Charly Coombes
Charly Coombes (born 27 December 1980 in Mountain View, California) is an American-born English singer/songwriter, musician and filmmaker. Career In 2004 Charly joined Sleaford band 22-20s, who had recently re-located to Oxford, as keyboard player; the band released one self-titled album and supported Oasis during their 2005 tour before splitting up in 2006 (the band reformed between 2008 and 2013 without Coombes). Following the split of 22-20s, Coombes filled in for Supergrass' keyboard player Rob Coombes during the Supergrass Road to Rouen European and North American tours 2005/2006 and substituted for three gigs during bassist Mick Quinn's injury in September 2007. His most recent endeavour was Charly Coombes and The New Breed, who released three EPs. The Jubilees
The Jubilees were an English four-piece band from Sleaford, Lincolnshire, England. The band The band formed in January 2004 in the Lincolnshire market town of Sleaford, named after the Jubilee Rooms which was one of the rooms in their local village hall. The band comprised four members, Dan Hare (lead vocals and guitar), Mark Ward (keyboards and backing vocals), Gaz Sutton (bass) and Chris Tuck (drums). The band first released a self-titled six track demo CD in 2005 which was written, recorded, mixed and produced by the band. They released an album ''Hide & Seek'' in October 2006, composed of eleven tracks, including "Hide & Seek", "Insomniac" and "One In A Million". Supergrass are an English rock band formed in 1993 in Oxford. For the majority of the band's tenure, the line-up consisted of brothers Gaz (lead vocals, guitar) and Rob Coombes (keyboards), Mick Quinn (bass, backing vocals) and Danny Goffey (drums, backing vocals). Originally a three-piece, Rob Coombes officially joined the band in 2002. The band signed to Parlophone Records in 1994 and produced ''I Should Coco'' (1995), the best-selling debut album for the label since the Beatles' ''Please Please Me''. TBD Records (previously Side One Recordings) was an American record label co-founded by Coran Capshaw and Phil Costello, and is a sublabel of ATO Records, distributed by RED Distribution. The label was founded in August 2007 and quickly announced its first release, the band Underworld's first studio album in five years, ''Oblivion with Bells''. Side One Recordings gained attention when it was connected with the CD release of Radiohead's 2007 album ''In Rainbows'' in the United States and Canada. In 2008 they signed the British band Hatcham Social, releasing their debut album ''You Dig The Tunnel I'll Hide The Soil'' in June 2009. Carre's Grammar School
Carre's Grammar School is a selective secondary school for boys in Sleaford, a market town in Lincolnshire, England. Founded on 1 September 1604 by an indenture of Robert Carre, the school was funded by rents from farmland and run by a group of trustees. The indenture restricted the endowment to £20 without accounting for inflation, causing the school to decline during the 18th century and effectively close in 1816. Revived by a decree from the Court of Chancery in 1830 new buildings were constructed at its present site and the school reopened in 1835. Faced with declining rolls and competition from cheaper commercial schools, Carre's eventually added technical and artistic instruction to its Classical curriculum by affiliating with Kesteven County Council in 1895.
