21st Filmfare Awards
The 21st Filmfare Awards were held in 1974. ''Anuraag'' won Best Film, but fail to win any other awards, a feat which was repeated by a few films in the 1970s. ''Bobby'' led the ceremony with 14 nominations, followed by ''Zanjeer'' with 9 nominations and '' Daag: A Poem of Love'' with 7 nominations. ''Bobby'' won 5 awards, including Best Actor (for Rishi Kapoor) and Best Actress (for Dimple Kapadia), thus becoming the most-awarded film at the ceremony. For the first time in the history of the Filmfare Awards, there was a tie for an acting award, when Dimple Kapadia and Jaya Bachchan tied for Best Actress for their performances in ''Bobby and Abhimaan'' respectively. Anuraag (1973 Film)
''Anuraag'' is a 1972 Indian Hindi-language drama film, directed by Shakti Samanta. The film stars Moushumi Chatterjee in her debut as a heroine and Vinod Mehra in lead roles. The Shakti Samanta fixture Rajesh Khanna, having earlier made ''Aradhana (1969 film), Aradhana'' (1969) and ''Kati Patang'' with Samanta, makes a special appearance. The music is by S. D. Burman. Initially, Shakti Samanta was thinking whether to make this film or not as he was not sure if the distributors would buy a film with such a story line and had shared the idea with Rajesh Khanna, who encouraged Samanta and volunteered to make an extended appearance for the film, and also distributed the film under the banner "Shakti-Raj" (indicating Shakti Samanta and Rajesh Khanna). Nutan Samarth Bahl (4 June 1936 – 21 February 1991), known mononymously as Nutan, was an Indian actress who worked in Hindi films. In a career spanning nearly four decades, she appeared in more than 70 films, mostly as a protagonist, in both big productions and arthouse films that ranged in genre from urban romances, literary adaptations, to psychological and socio-realist dramas.
