2024–25 Scottish League Two
The 2024–25 Scottish League Two (known as William Hill League Two for sponsorship reasons) is the twelfth season of Scottish League Two, the fourth tier of Scottish football. The season began on 3 August 2024. Ten teams contest the league: Bonnyrigg Rose, Clyde, East Fife, Edinburgh City, Elgin City, Forfar Athletic, Peterhead, Stirling Albion, Stranraer and The Spartans. Scottish League Two
The Scottish League Two, known as cinch League Two for sponsorship reasons, is the fourth tier of the Scottish Professional Football League, the league competition for men's professional football clubs in Scotland. The Scottish League Two was established in July 2013, after the Scottish Professional Football League was formed by a merger of the Scottish Premier League and Scottish Football League. Since the 2014–15 season, the bottom team has entered a play-off against the winner of a play-off between the winners of the Highland and Lowland Leagues for a place in the following season's competition. Format Teams receive three points for a win and one point for a draw. No points are awarded for a loss. Teams are ranked by total points, then goal difference, and then goals scored. Station Park, Forfar
Station Park is a football ground in Forfar, Angus, Scotland. It is home to Scottish Professional Football League side Forfar Athletic and to Forfar Farmington of the Scottish Women's Premier League. Station Park is one of a number of old fashioned football grounds left in the Scottish League. It has a capacity of although this has previously been much higher. The record crowd is 10,780 against Rangers in 1970. The total has been reduced for safety reasons. The ground allows access to all four sides of the pitch. There is one large terrace behind the goal at the western end of the ground. Called the "mert end" because a cattle market is just over the wall this area is reserved for visiting supporters when occasion and numbers demand separation of fans. Borough Briggs
Borough Briggs is a football ground in Elgin, Moray, Scotland and is the most northerly football league stadium in Great Britain. This venue is the home ground of Elgin City who currently play in the Scottish League Two. Borough Briggs opened on 20 August 1921 when Inverness Citadel were the visitors in a Highland League fixture, which Elgin won 3–0. The first player to score at the ground was City centre-half Willie Raitt after 20 minutes of the first-half at the Lossie Green end, other scorers were Alf Mitchell and Charlie Taylor. The new ground replaced Elgin's temporary ground from 1919 to 1921 at Cooper Park. It has a capacity of ; 478 seated.
