2024–25 Real Madrid CF Season
The 2024–25 season is the Real Madrid Club de Fútbol's 121st season in existence and the club's 94th consecutive season in the top flight of Spanish football. In addition to the domestic league, Real Madrid will be participating in this season's editions of the Copa del Rey, the Supercopa de España and the UEFA Champions League. As the reigning European champions, they will contest the UEFA Super Cup against Atalanta and compete in the FIFA Club World Cup and the inaugural edition of the FIFA Intercontinental Cup. This season will be the first since 2013–14 without Toni Kroos, who announced his retirement in May 2024, as well as first since 2009–10 without Nacho, who departed as a free agent to Saudi Arabian club Al Qadsiah. 2024 FIFA Intercontinental Cup
The 2024 FIFA Intercontinental Cup, officially the Coupe Intercontinentale de la FIFA 2024, is the inaugural edition of the FIFA Intercontinental Cup, an annual club association football tournament organised by FIFA. The tournament will comprise the six teams that won the previous edition of the continental championships in each FIFA confederation playing each other in a single-elimination bracket. It is scheduled to take place in December 2024 with the first rounds at a home stadium for one team and later rounds at a neutral venue. The tournament serves as a continuation of the annual version of the FIFA Club World Cup, which was expanded and reorganised into a quadrennial tournament with more entrants. Al-Qadsiah Football Club ( ar, نادي القادسية) is a Saudi Arabian professional football club that competes in the Saudi First Division League.
