The 2024–25 Israeli Basketball State Cup was the 65th edition of the Israeli Basketball State Cup, organized by the Israeli Basketball Association. On 9 January, 2025, the Israel Basketball Association held the draw for the Quarterfinals. Israeli Basketball State Cup
The Israeli Basketball State Cup () is the second most important professional basketball competition in Israel, after the Israeli Super League. It is the national federation cup of Israel. The tournament began in the 1955–56 season, and is run by the Israel Basketball Association. In the 21–22 season, the tournament format was changed so that only the first 8 teams at the end of the first rotation of the Israeli Basketball Premier League will compete. The quarter-final matches will be drawn between the teams in places 1-4 against 5-8 for a one-game elimination match. Hapoel (, ) is an Israeli Jewish sports association established in 1926 by the Histadrut Labor Federation. History During the British Mandate of Palestine period Hapoel had a bitter rivalry with Maccabi and organized its own competitions, with the exception of football, the only sport in which all the organizations played each other. At the time, Hapoel took no part in the ''Eretz Israel Olympic Committee'', which was controlled by Maccabi, and instead sought for international ties with similar workers sports organizations of socialist parties. Bryce Wade Brown (born July 24, 1997) is an American professional basketball player who has signed with Ironi Ness Ziona of the Israeli Basketball Premier League. He played college basketball for the Auburn Tigers and was the leading scorer for the Tigers first ever Final Four team. Early life Brown began his high school career at Columbia High School, where he averaged 18 points and 5 assists per game as a junior.
