2024–25 Binghamton Bearcats Men's Basketball Team
The 2024–25 Binghamton Bearcats men's basketball team represented Binghamton University during the 2024–25 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Bearcats, led by fourth-year head coach Levell Sanders, played their home games on Dr. Bai Lee Court in Binghamton University Events Center in Vestal, New York as members of the America East Conference. Previous season The Bearcats finished the 2023–24 season 15–15, 7–9 in America East play to finish in a three-way tie for fourth place. They were defeated by New Hampshire in the quarterfinals of the America East tournament. Levell Sanders
Levell Leonard Sanders (born December 14, 1975) is an American professional basketball coach and former professional basketball player. He is currently the head coach for the Binghamton Bearcats men's basketball team. Playing career A Brooklyn, New York, native, Sanders attended Jamaica High School in Queens, New York, before attending Seton Hall University from 1994 to 1998. After 113 career games played, he posted career game averages of 12.4 points, 3.7 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.8 steals. He earned Second team All-BIG East honors as a senior. Following graduation, he got his first experience as a professional basketball player in the USBL, playing for the New Hampshire Thunder Loons. "I played one game in the USBL and that was in May after my senior season. I left for Europe in August", he said in an interview in April 2009. The Houston Christian Huskies men's basketball team, known as the Houston Baptist Huskies until 2022, represents Houston Christian University in Houston, Texas, in NCAA Division I men's basketball competition. The team is coached by Craig Doty, who was hired on March 15, 2024. The Huskies have appeared once in the NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament in 1984.
