2024–25 Atlantic Coast Conference Men's Basketball Season
The 2024–25 Atlantic Coast Conference men's basketball season began with practices in October 2024, followed by the start of the 2024–25 NCAA Division I men's basketball season in November. Conference play started in December 2024 and concluded in March 2025. The 2025 ACC men's basketball tournament was held at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina, in March 2025. This was the 71st season of Atlantic Coast Conference basketball and the first season in which 18 teams competed in the conference, after the additions of California Golden Bears men's basketball, California, SMU Mustangs men's basketball, SMU, and Stanford Cardinal men's basketball, Stanford on July 1, 2024. California Golden Bears Men's Basketball
The California Golden Bears men's basketball team is the men's college basketball team representing the University of California, Berkeley, in NCAA Division I, currently playing in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). The program has seen success throughout the years, culminating in a national championship in 1959 under coach Pete Newell, and the team has reached the final four two other times, in 1946 and 1960. Ron Sanchez
Ron Sanchez is a college basketball coach who most recently served as the interim head coach for the Virginia Cavaliers men's basketball team. He was appointed interim head coach in October 2024 following Tony Bennett's surprise retirement. He previously served as the head coach of the men's basketball team at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte from 2018 until he resigned following a 22-14 season to rejoin the University of Virginia as assistant head coach on June 6, 2023. Kyle Andrew Smith (born June 26, 1969) is an American college basketball coach who is the men's head coach for the Stanford Cardinal of the ACC. Jerod Haase
Jerod Albert Haase (born April 1, 1974) is an American college basketball coach. He was the head coach for Stanford Cardinal men's team of the Pac-12 Conference from 2016 to 2024. Haase played college basketball at the University of California, Berkeley from 1992 to 1993, and then transferred to the University of Kansas to play under Roy Williams from 1994 to 1997. Haase was a Naismith and Wooden Award candidate while at Kansas. At Kansas, he only missed two games out of 101 and averaged 12.5 points per game, scoring 1,246 points over the span of his career. The 2023–24 USC Trojans men's basketball team represented the University of Southern California during the 2023–24 NCAA Division I men's basketball season.
