2024 Walsh Cup
The 2024 Walsh Cup, known for sponsorship reasons as the Dioralyte Walsh Cup, was an early-season inter-county hurling competition based in the Irish province of Leinster and taking place in January 2024. Nine county teams competed — seven from Leinster (, , , , , , ); from Connacht; and from Ulster. Keith Rossiter
Keith Rossiter (born 16 January 1984) is an Irish hurling, hurler and currently a selector with the Wexford senior hurling team. He plays for Wexford Senior Hurling Championship, Wexford Senior Championship club Oulart–The Ballagh GAA, Oulart–The Ballagh and was a member of the Wexford senior hurling team for 12 seasons, during which time he usually lined out as a full-back. Playing career Waterford Institute of Technology As a student at the Waterford Institute of Technology, Rossiter immediately became involved in hurling as a member of the Waterford IT freshers' team. He joined the Waterford IT GAA, senior hurling team during his second year. On 6 March 2004, Rossiter lined out at centre-back when the Waterford Institute of Technology faced UCC GAA, University College Cork in the Fitzgibbon Cup, Fitzgibbon Cup final. Dr Cullen Park, known for sponsorship reasons as Netwatch Cullen Park, is a GAA stadium in Carlow, County Carlow, Ireland. It is the home of the Carlow Gaelic football and hurling teams. It has a capacity of 21,000. History The ground's establishment was first mooted in 1935. Dr Cullen Park was officially opened on 9 August 1936 by Patrick McNamee of the GAA. A total expenditure of £3,590 and 15 shillings was accounted for at the first audit. This sum included the purchase of the land. Dr Cullen Park was officially opened on Sunday 9 August 1936. It was named in honour of Dr Matthew Cullen (Catholic Bishop of Kildare and Leighlin 1927–36) who had died on 2 January 1936. Carlow
Carlow ( ; ) is the county town of County Carlow, in the south-east of Ireland, from Dublin. At the 2016 census, it had a combined urban and rural population of 24,272. Parnell Park
Parnell Park is a GAA stadium in Donnycarney, Dublin, Ireland with a capacity of 8,500. It is the home of the Dublin GAA hurling, football, camogie and ladies' football teams at all levels of competition. The ground is used by Dublin's inter-county teams mainly during home National Hurling League & All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship games and as a training ground, with most National Football League and All-Ireland Senior Football Championship games played in Croke Park.
