2024 Russian Cup Final
The 2024 Russian Cup Final (formally 'Superfinal' due to a new competition structure) was the 32nd Russian Cup Final, the final match of the 2023–24 Russian Cup. It was played at Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow, Russia, on 2 June 2024, contested by FC Baltika Kaliningrad, Baltika Kaliningrad and FC Zenit Saint Petersburg, Zenit Saint Petersburg. Zenit Saint Petersburg won the match 2–1 for their sixth Russian Cup, earning their first ever domestic treble, previously having won the 2023 Russian Super Cup and the 2023–24 Russian Premier League. As winners, they earned the right to play against the runners-up of the 2023–24 Russian Premier League, FC Krasnodar, Krasnodar, in the 2024 Russian Super Cup. 2023–24 Russian Cup
The 2023–24 Russian Cup (football), Russian Cup is the 32nd season of the Russian Association football, football knockout tournament since the dissolution of the Soviet Union. The competition started on 25 July 2023 and will conclude on 2 June 2024. The winner of the cup would normally gain entry into the 2024–25 UEFA Europa League; however, on 28 February 2022, Russian football clubs were suspended from FIFA & UEFA international competitions until further notice due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Alex Nascimento Fernandes (born 3 June 2002) is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a right winger for Russian club Baltika Kaliningrad.
