2024 MLS Next Pro Season
The 2024 MLS Next Pro season will be the third season of MLS Next Pro, the second-tier league of Major League Soccer. It is expected that the season will begin on March 15 and conclude on October 6. Austin FC II and the Colorado Rapids 2 are the defending playoff and regular season champions, respectively. Two independent clubs, Carolina Core FC and Chattanooga FC will begin play in the league. Chattanooga previously played in the National Independent Soccer Association, while Carolina Core is an expansion club. MLS Next Pro is a men's professional soccer league in the United States and Canada that is affiliated with Major League Soccer. It launched in 2022 with 21 teams and will expand to 28 in 2023. New York Red Bulls II is an American professional soccer team based in Montclair, New Jersey. They are the reserve team of the New York Red Bulls and play in MLS Next Pro, the third tier in the American soccer pyramid. The CIBER Field at the University of Denver Soccer Stadium, or simply Denver Soccer Stadium, is a soccer-specific stadium located in Denver, Colorado. The National Independent Soccer Association (NISA) is a professional men's soccer league in the United States. The league is in the third tier of American soccer and began play in 2019. NISA initially used a fall-to-spring season format with a winter break but have switched to spring-to-fall which is more common in the United States. 2023 MLS Next Pro Season
The 2023 MLS Next Pro season is the second season of MLS Next Pro, the reserve league of Major League Soccer. 27 clubs will participate in the 2023 season. Atlanta United 2, New York Red Bulls II and LA Galaxy II joined the league from the USL Championship.
