Nikoloz Sherazadishvili ( ka, ნიკოლოზ შერაზადიშვილი; born 19 February 1996) is a Georgian-born, Spanish judoka. Early life Sherazadishvili began training in the sports of Judo and Water Polo at the age of 10, and immigrated to Madrid, Spain with his parents at the age of 14, he then decided to focus on Judo, where he would enter a club ran by former-Olympian, Joaquín "Quino" Ruiz, in Brunete, just outside Madrid. Sherazadishvili was granted Spanish citizenship in 2014, so he could begin competing under the Spanish flag. Judo career 2018 In April 2018, Sherazadishvili competed at the 2018 European Judo Championships in Tel Aviv, Israel, where he would successfully win a bronze medal. is a Japanese judoka who won a gold medal at the 2017 World Judo Championships in Budapest and a gold medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics. He is the son of a Japanese mother, Mikako, and an American father, James, who teaches English at a Japanese university. Erlan Sherov
Erlan Sherov (born 19 June 1998) is a judoka from Kyrgyzstan. He was a bronze medalist at the 2024 World Judo Championships. Career Sherov won a silver medal in the 90 kg category at the 2022 Asian Championships in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan in August 2022. Sherov reached the final of the 90 kg category at the 2022 Asian Games in September 2023 where he won gold with a victory against Uzbekistan's Davlat Bobonov. In doing so, he became the first judoka in the history of the Kyrgyz Republic to claim gold at the Asian Games. Matthias Casse (born 19 February 1997) is a Belgian judoka who won the bronze medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics. In 2017, Matthias Casse became junior world champion in Zagreb, the first Belgian male judoka to achieve this since Johan Laats in 1986.
