2024 Indy NXT
The 2024 Firestone Indy NXT Series will be the 37th season of the Indy NXT open wheel motor racing series and the 22nd sanctioned by IndyCar, acting as the primary support series for the IndyCar Series. This will be the second year of the championship running under the Indy NXT moniker following its acquisition by Penske Entertainment, the owner of the IndyCar Series, in 2022. Team and driver chart All teams will use Dallara IL-15 cars with an AER produced Mazda sourced 2.0 litre engine and Firestone tires. The following drivers and teams are scheduled to compete in the series. Indy NXT, previously Indy Lights, is an American Minor league, developmental automobile racing series sanctioned by IndyCar, currently known as Firestone Indy NXT Series for sponsorship reasons. Indy Lights is the highest step on the Road to Indy, a program of racing series leading up to the IndyCar Series. The Indy Lights series has been promoted by Anderson Promotions since 2014, which also manages the Road to Indy program. A similar series named Indy Lights filled the developmental role for the Champ Car, CART series, and ran from 1986 to 1993 as the American Racing Series and Dayton Indy Lights from 1991 to 2001. Jamie Laura Chadwick (born 20 May 1998) is a British racing driver who races for Andretti Autosport in Indy NXT. She won the inaugural W Series season in 2019, before retaining her title in 2021 and 2022. She currently holds the records for the most wins, podiums, pole positions and points in the W Series. Jack Miller (racing Driver)
Jack Miller (born June 14, 1961, in Indianapolis), usually known as Dr. Jack Miller, is an American retired racing driver. He drove in the Indy Racing League from 1997 to 2001 and the Indianapolis 500 from 1997 to 1999. Miller is a practicing dentist and was accordingly "The Racing Dentist." For much of his racing career, he was sponsored by dental product companies including Crest and Water Pik. Miller's best IRL finish was a 9th in 1998 at Charlotte. His best finish in the Indianapolis 500 was a 20th his rookie year of 1997. During his stay in Indy Lights he won the 1993 B-series championship. This class of racing was only run in 1993 and consisted of drivers using the previous March chassis as the rest of the series introduced new Lola chassis. Lindsay Marie Brewer (born April 17, 1997) is an American professional Formula Car racing driver. She competes full time in the 2023 USF Pro 2000 Championship for Exclusive Autosport, formerly known as the Road to Indy and the second highest tier in the Indycar ladder series. Myles Rowe (born June 19, 2000) is an American racing driver. He is signed to compete in the 2024 Indy NXT driving for HMD Motorsports with Force Indy. He is the 2023 USF Pro 2000 champion. Rowe competed in the 2022 USF2000 Championship with Pabst Racing as well as with Force Indy. Nolan Siegel (born November 8, 2004) is an American racing driver. He currently competes in the Indy NXT with HMD Motorsports w/ Dale Coyne Racing. Siegel previously competed in the U.S. F2000 National Championship with DEForce Racing.
