''Radio 1 Breakfast'' is a radio show that is broadcast across the UK on BBC Radio 1. It is hosted by Greg James since 20 August 2018 as the show's 16th presenter. The show ran six days a week until February 1968 (seBBC Genome Project, then five days a week until June 2018, when the Friday show was dropped and incorporated into the station's weekend schedule, hosted by ''Weekend Breakfast'' hosts Matt Edmondson and Mollie King. In January 2021, the show returned to broadcasting five days per week. Hits Radio East Midlands is an Independent Local Radio station based in Nottingham, England, owned and operated by Bauer Media Audio UK as part of the Hits Radio network. It broadcasts to the East Midlands. As of March 2024, the station has a weekly audience of 253,000 listeners according to RAJAR. History Radio 106 Radio 106 launched at 6am on Tuesday 23 September 1997. ''Free Radio'' is a television show, created by Lance Krall and Rory Rosegarten. The show originated on VH1, but has also played on Comedy Central, and Super Channel (Canada). It stars Lance Krall, prominent for his role on ''The Joe Schmo Show'', and Anna Vocino, who also starred with Krall on ''The Lance Krall Show''. Plot The show focuses on a dysfunctional radio station, KBOM. Krall plays a moronic intern turned moronic DJ when KBOM's regular shock jock, Rip Rebel, defects to satellite radio. Lance eventually gets his own show entitled ''Moron in the Morning''. Real celebrities guest star as themselves with Lance, who often either does not realize who they are or mixes them up with other celebrities on the air. Most of the dialogue is improvised. Juice Radio
Juice Radio is a community radio station based in Preston, Lancashire, which broadcasts pop and dance music. It was initially established in 2008 as Preston FM before relaunching in 2015 as City Beat, subsequently known as Beat 103. On the 8th of January 2024 the station merged into the digital radio station Juice Radio, which took over the 103.2 MHz frequency used by Beat. History Preston FM Preston FM was initially operated by Prescap (Preston Community Arts Project), a local arts charity. It originally broadcast six Restricted Service Licence trials over three years from October 2005 to June 2008 and subsequently received a full-time community radio licence from Ofcom. Boom Radio (also Boom Radio UK) is an independent, commercial, national radio station in the United Kingdom. Owned by Boom Radio Ltd, the station is aimed at baby boomers, the generation of people born between 1946 and 1964, and is the first radio station in the UK to specifically target this age demographic. Scala Radio is a classical music digital radio station in the United Kingdom, owned and operated by Bauer Radio since its launch in March 2019.
