PRS For Music
PRS for Music Limited (formerly The MCPS-PRS Alliance Limited) is a British music copyright collective, made up of two collection societies: the Mechanical-Copyright Protection Society (MCPS) and the Performing Right Society (PRS). It undertakes collective rights management for musical works on behalf of its 160,000 members. PRS for Music was formed in 1997 following the MCPS-PRS Alliance. In 2009, PRS and MCPS-PRS Alliance realigned their brands and became PRS for Music. PRS represents their songwriter, composer and music publisher members’ performing rights, and collects royalties on their behalf whenever their music is played or performed publicly. Stevie Spring
Stephanie Spring (born 10 June 1957) is a British media executive, and incoming chair of the board of PRS for Music, the United Kingdom's music copyright collective. She has previously served as Chair of the British Council and the mental health charity Mind. After graduating with a law degree, Spring joined Alpine Group as a marketing manager in 1978. In 1982, she became part of the team that launch the breakfast television station TV-am, before working in advertising management. She served as chief executive officer of ClearChannel from 1999 to 2006, and as CEO of Future plc from 2006 to 2012, becoming one of only a few women to chair a public listed company at the time. Royal Albert Hall
The Royal Albert Hall is a concert hall on the northern edge of South Kensington, London. One of the UK's most treasured and distinctive buildings, it is held in trust for the nation and managed by a registered charity which receives no government funding. It can seat 5,272. Teenage Cancer Trust
Teenage Cancer Trust is a cancer care and support charity in the UK that exists to improve the cancer experience of young people aged 13–24. Founded in 1990, the charity's key service is providing specialist teenage units in NHS hospitals. It also trains and funds staff who are teenage cancer specialists.
