2024 Hungarian Grand Prix
The 2024 FIA Formula One World Championship is a planned motor racing championship for Formula One cars set to be the 75th running of the Formula One World Championship. It is recognised by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA), the governing body of international motorsport, as the highest class of competition for open-wheel racing cars. The championship is scheduled to be contested over a record twenty-four held around the world, beginning in March and ending in December. Drivers and teams will compete for the titles of World Drivers' Champion and World Constructors' Champion, respectively. Max Verstappen is the reigning Drivers' Champion, while his team, Red Bull Racing- Honda RBPT, are the reigning Constructors' Champions. Since its inception in 1947, Formula One has used a variety of engine regulations. "Formulae" limiting engine capacity had been used in Grand Prix racing on a regular basis since after World War I. The engine formulae are divided according to era. Operation Formula One currently uses 1.6 litre four-stroke turbocharged 90 degree V6 double-overhead camshaft (DOHC) reciprocating engines. They were introduced in 2014 and have been developed over the subsequent seasons.
