2024 Eurocup-3 Season
The 2024 Eurocup-3 season is the second season of the Eurocup-3 series. Eurocup-3 is a multi-event motor racing championship for single-seater open wheel formula racing cars held across Europe. The championship was created in 2023 as an alternative to the FIA-sanctioned Formula Regional European Championship and the Euroformula Open championship, after the latter series struggled to attract entries in late 2022. Teams and drivers Teams utilize the same Tatuus F3 T-318 chassis used in the Formula Regional European Championship, but fitted with an updated body kit, a new intercooler and a battery kit. It also is 25kg lighter than the FRECA car. The car uses a 270hp Alfa Romeo Alfa Romeo Automobiles S.p.A. () is an Italian luxury car manufacturer and a subsidiary of Stellantis. Eurocup-3
Eurocup-3 is a formula racing series regulated according to Formula Regional regulations. The series is founded for levelling up the competition for all drivers, with each team committing on a maximum budget of €400,000 every season. History The championship was inaugurated in 2023, and was formed as an alternative to the FIA-sanctioned Formula Regional European Championship and the Euroformula Open Championship, especially after the latter series struggled to attract entries in late 2022. Cars Teams use the identical Tatuus F3 T-318 chassis from the Formula Regional European Championship, but these chassis are provided with a new intercooler, updated body kit, and battery kit. Valerio Rinicella (born 18 January 2007) is an Italian people, Italian racing driver. He is currently racing for MP Motorsport in the 2024 Formula Regional European Championship. He is a protégé of Formula One race winner Giancarlo Fisichella and GT racer . Career Formula 4 2022 Rinicella made his single-seater debut during the 2022 Formula 4 UAE Championship. He failed to score any points and finished 26th in the standings. For his main campaign, Rinicella signed with MP Motorsport to compete in the 2022 F4 Spanish Championship, F4 Spanish Championship. His first podium came not too far away during the third race in Circuito de Jerez, Jerez. Hadrien David (born 26 February 2004), is a French racing driver who most recently competed in the Formula Regional European Championship with R-ace GP. He was the youngest FIA Formula 4 Champion when he won the French F4 Championship in 2019, at the age of 15. Matteo De Palo (born 8 November 2007) is an Italian racing driver who is currently racing in the 2024 Formula Regional European Championship with Saintéloc Racing. He previously competed in the 2023 F4 Spanish Championship with Campos Racing, finishing fifth overall. Career Formula Winter Series De Palo made his car racing debut at the second round in Circuit Ricardo Tormo during the 2023 Formula Winter Series. Emely de Heus (born 10 February 2003) is a Dutch racing driver competing in the 2022 W Series. Personal life De Heus was born in Mijnsheerenland, Netherlands. Nikola Tsolov
Nikola Tsolov ( bg, Никола Цолов, born 21 December 2006) is a Bulgarian racing driver who is the current champion of the F4 Spanish Championship and a member of the Alpine Affiliate programme. Nicholas Gilkes (born 16 May 2005) is a British-Canadian racing driver currently competing in Eurocup-3 with Drivex. He is the 2021 Ontario F1600 and Canadian F1600 champion respectively and a race winner in the GB3 Championship. Drivex is an auto racing team and school based in Spain. The team was founded by Pedro de la Rosa and Miguel Ángel de Castro in 2005 as a racing school. Pierre-Louis Chovet (born 11 April 2002) is a French racing driver. Career Karting Pierre-Louis Chovet practiced many sports during his childhood such as skiing, BMX or tennis. He attended the 2011 Monaco Grand Prix and quickly developed a passion for motorsports. He quickly discovered karting, by participating in PACA-Corsica regional championships, where he won the Cadet title in 2015. The following year, he finished second in the French Cup in Cadets.
