The 2024 E3 Saxo Classic was a road cycling one-day race that took place on 22 March 2024 in Belgium. It was the 66th edition of the E3 Saxo Bank Classic, and the 11th event of the 2024 UCI World Tour. Tim Wellens (born 10 May 1991) is a Belgian professional road cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . He is the son of former racing cyclist Leo Wellens and the nephew of cyclists Paul and Johan Wellens. Toms Skujiņš (born 15 June 1991) is a Latvian professional road racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Jhonatan Manuel Narváez Prado (born 4 March 1997) is an Ecuadorian professional road racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Matteo Jorgenson
Matteo Jorgenson (born July 1, 1999) is an American professional cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . He had an active 2022 Tour de France and was involved in several breakaways including on stage 10. He finished fourth, a result he was not satisfied with. On stage 16 there was a large breakaway of nearly 30 riders and Jorgenson was among them. Late in the stage he was one of the final surviving riders and was in the process of chasing down the lead rider Hugo Houle. He crashed while rounding a sharp corner. Despite the crash he was still able to finish fourth on the stage. In the 2023 Tour de France, he was involved in a 14-man breakaway on stage 9.
